BISWA ODIA BHASHA SAMMILANI The circular emblem for Biswa Odia Bhasha Sammilani (BOBS) has a grey border, has its name and the year of the event written in Odiya. It ensconces a tree of Odiya alphabets, a quill and wheel of Konark Sun Temple supported by an open book and a keyboard. All these represent the Odiya literature, knowledge, culture, learning, wisdom, education and writings. Below these its tagline in Odiya ‘ଭାଷା ହେଉଛି ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ’ meaning ‘Language is the Future’ is written. The logo is sober, attractive and the colour grey is intellectually stimulating.

CHAUDHARY DEVI LAL UNIVERSITY Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa became an university in 2003 upon upgradation of Kurukshetra University Chaudhary Devi Lal Post Graduate Regional Centre. The emblem of the university has an open book with a quill pen and three leaves placed over a rising sun on a blue circle. The year of the establishment is written at the bottom. These are ensconced by a green circle on which its name is inscribed along with its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’. The open book denotes knowledge, wisdom and education; the quill pen symbolises a sense of lightness and balance; the three leaves symbolise faith, love and hope; the rising sun means light, universal prosperity and path for growth; the colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity; the colour blue means serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelli

FAKIR MOHAN UNIVERSITY

FAKIR MOHAN UNIVERSITY The Fakir Mohan University (FMU), Vyasa Vihar, Balasore was established by the Government of Odisha, under Section 32 of the Odisha Universities Act 5, of 1989 and it was notified through the Government's Notification No. 973 dated July 3, 1999. The university has also been duly recognized under Sections 2(f)  and 12 (B) of the UGC Act. The university is located at VyasaVihar and Nuapadhi. The insignia of the university has an open book with an ink pot and quill pen symbolising, education, knowledge, wisdom, ideas, communication and recording, surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘अमृतं तु विद्या’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Nectar’. These are ensconced by a pair of concentric circles, around which on a border with a pair of outlines its tagline in Odia ‘ସତ୍ୟ ସାଧନା ସ୍ବିମାନ’ meaning ‘Truth Practice Self Respect’ is written. At the bottom of all these on a rectangular panel the name of the university is written.  

MIZORAM UNIVERSITY

MIZORAM UNIVERSITY Mizoram University was created by an Act of Parliament (No. 8 of 2000) and it became functional from July 2, 2001. The university is located at Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram. The green and black logo has a torch and quill supported by an open book and on either side by horns, with a mountain range forming the base. It is surrounded by a circular border which bears its motto ‘Greater Deeds Remain’. At the bottom, on a banner the name of the university is written along with its year of establishment. The mountain range represented here is Himalayas; the book denotes knowledge and education; torch denotes light, path to proceed and the horns are of the native wild cattle.
