Alongside, its name is written in sans serif typeface. The rising sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the leaves sprouting out denotes the nourishment provided by the university in growing out of the box and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

Below this pictorial its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’. The human motif denotes an enlightened and dynamic human; the dancing peacock symbolises joy and celebration, new beginnings, purity, compassion, respect, rejuvenation, honour, integrity, royalty and passion; the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

INSTITUTE OF INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT The circular greenish blue and light green emblem of Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM) has a circle with the motifs of satellite communication, a large dam of water and an electrical distribution tower. These are ensconced by a circular border on which its name and place are inscribed. The circumference of the border is decorated with motifs of a number of human beings holding their hands together. The motifs symbolise the branches of engineering and science the university offers; the humans holding hands denote unity is strength. The colours are sober and friendly and attractive for its simplicity.

DETECT ADULTERATION WITH RAPID TEST The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has recently brought out a manual entitled ‘Detect Adulteration with Rapid Test (DART)’. This manual focuses on some common quick tests for detection of food adulterants at the household level. The purpose of the manual is to present common methods that are available for the detection of food adulterants generally found in India. The manual is meant for household use, with the aim of creating awareness and educating the consumer about food adulteration and food safety. Its emblem has a laboratory flask in which green shoots of a plant looking like a happy person are placed, meaning a reliable test or tests for consumers of food items to detect adulteration. Alongside its acronym is written in blue and its name at the bottom.

THE PROJECT CLEAN DRINKING WATER The Project Clean Drinking Water (TPCDW) aims that consumers have the right to expect that the packaged drinking water or beverage they purchase is safe and of high quality. Consumers shall be able to verify the physical, chemical and microbiological safety of packaged drinking water or mineral water through the system developed for the purpose. The FSSAI's programme lets consumers to verify that the bottled drinking water or beverage they buy is safe and of excellent quality. The logo is designed so that the encircling of the fingers represents complete water purity, the translucent blue colour inside represents cleanliness (free of toxins and contaminants) and the serenity of each drop represents that each drop of water is safe for consumption. The logo has a okay (ok) symbol in green colour, in which a drop of water with a halo in blue colour is placed, meaning certified for purity. Below this the tagline ‘Safe Water for Hea
