The Bengal Warriors play in the Pro Kabaddi League, which is a professional kabaddi league in India. Bengal Warriors were initially owned by retail company Fortune Group, who are known for their market retail stores like FBB, Big Bazaar, Home Centre, Brand Factory to name a few. Before the start of 12-team PKL 5, Bengal Warriors roped in Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar to be the co-owner of the team. Its present owners are 'Birthright Games & Entertainment Private Limited'.
