SRI AUROBINDO UNIVERSITY Inspired by the ideals of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, Sri Aurobindo University (SAU) is promoted by Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) Society and Bhandari Group of Hospitals and Institutions (BGHI). Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) Society was started Dr. Vinod Bhandari & his wife Dr. Manjushree Bhandari in 2003. The emblem of the university is a revolving globe with longitude and latitudinal line on a cyan coloured square with a white swoosh. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness. The emblem depicts the globe in a dynamic state, which constantly evolves and revolves in a vibrant manner. Cyan is a relaxing and inspiring colour that evokes images of crystal waters and is normally associated with liveliness, tranquillity, youth and energy.
