NATIONAL MEDICAL COMMISSION

NATIONAL MEDICAL COMMISSION The circular emblem of National Medical Commission (NMC) has a pictorial of three persons in Indian National Tricolour. The motifs are supported on either side by a tricolour band, supported by its name in Devanagari and surmounted by its name in English. All these are placed in a grey circle. Dhanvantari is the physician of Devas in Hindu philosophy.  

TROOPS COMFORTS LIMITED

TROOPS COMFORTS LIMITED The emblem of Troops Comforts Limited (TCL) has its acronym supported by a soldier in camouflage fatigues in action ensconced by a swoosh and four circles. At the bottom its name and its tagline in Sanskrit ‘राष्ट्रो रक्षति रक्षितः’ meaning ‘Protecting the Protectors of the Nation’ are written in English and Devanagari respectively. The four circles refers to the protection from  the four conditions of cold, windy, rainy and water by its gears. The swoosh is in the National Tricolour referring to the nation. The acronym is written in bold sans serif capitals in camouflage green and brown colours.

TROOPS

TROOPS The emblem of the Troops brand of clothing and accessories is a green shield with thick yellow outlines. The upper portion of the shield houses the motifs of five soldiers in different postures and the bottom portion has the bands of National Tricolour. Just above this on a yellow banner ‘Troops’ is written in capitals supported on each side by three lines. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the soldiers refers to the military personnel for whom Troops make their products; the colour green denotes military and defence applications and use and the colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity.

TEAM INDIA OLYMPICS

TEAM INDIA OLYMPICS The emblem of Team India Olympics (TIO) celebrates Bharat’s (India) participation in Summer Olympics for one hundred years. The emblem has a swoosh of India’s national tricolours on top supported by ‘India’ in blue capitals and at the bottom the five rings olympic emblem is placed. The vertical stroke of ‘N’ is rendered in the colours of the Indian National Flag.

SAGARMALA

SAGARMALA The insignia for Sagarmala, the port-led development of logistics, has a helm of ship housing a motif of ship on flowing waters, a port, a connecting road to the land and a factory in tricolour of the National Flag. Below these pictorial its name is written. At the bottom its tagline 'Port-led Development' is written. The logo is legible, representative and informative.

INDO-AFRICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY The emblem of Indo-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IACCI) has a band of Indian National Tricolour ending with a map of the African continent. This is an easy to understand and nice depiction of the commercial body’s scope and work.

QUALITY BHARAT VIKSIT BHARAT - QCI The emblem of Quality Bharat Viksit Bharat (QBVB) of QCI has the emblem of QCI adapted with the quality triangle with nationalistic tricolour stripes; ‘100’ written in overlapping numerals, in cyan and at the bottom the name of the mission is written in two lines. The emblem is trendy, colourful and dynamic. The colour cyan denotes sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation, emotional balance.

GUNVATTA GURUKUL

GUNVATTA GURUKUL The emblem of Gunvatta Gurukul (GG) or गुणवत्ता गुरुकुल has a blue circle housing the letter ‘g’ supported by a pair of laurels on sides and a swoosh of Indian national tricolours at the bottom. Its tagline ‘Nurturing Minds, Cultivating Growth’ surmounts the circle. The name गुणवत्ता गुरुकुल is written at the bottom in blue and the name in English and Quality Council of India are written below this. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

GUNVATTA SANKALP

GUNVATTA SANKALP The emblem of  of गुणवत्ता संकल्प or Gunvatta Sankalp has a the Ashoka Chakra of the national flag ensconced by a grey border bearing the name of the Quality Council of India. This is supported by a blue banner bearing the name of the mission in Devanagari and the tricolours of the national flag emerge from the banner.

ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION The insignia of All India Football Federation (AIFF) is a white shield with swooshes of orange and green supporting a football in blue colour resembling the tricolour of Bharat denoting constant upward movement and vibrancy of Indian football. On the right top of the shield 'India' is written. The shield denotes safety, protection, valour, courage and tradition.

BHARAT TEX 2024 The logo of Bharat Tex 2024 has a pictorial, a wordmark and other informative texts. The pictorial is a lotus in national tricolours - orange, green and white, with its overlapping transparent petals forming interesting patterns representing India. The word mark ‘Bharat’ is created to look like it is formed by thread flowing through a needle. The pictorial and the word mark are supported by a tricolour line. Its tagline ‘Textiles, Fashion, Sustainability’ is written on the right and the nature and venue of the expo is written below. Overall, it is an interesting and informative logo.

DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER HANDLOOMS The emblem of the Development Commissioner Handlooms (DCH) has a white circle with blue outline housing a national tricolour weave of eight threads surrounded by ‘India’ in orange  ‘Handloom’ in green. The circle is ensconced by a tricolour geometric lotus pattern. The emblem depicts both the handloom textiles and the intricate weave and design of handloom fabrics.

PARAKRAM DIWAS The emblem for Parakram Diwas has a silhouetted pictorial of field service cap of Netaji and with his spectacles; its name ‘पराक्रम दिवस’ written on write in Devanagari supported by Indian tricolour swooshes and ‘23 जनवरी’. The logo is simple, elegant and easily understood.

MAHARASHTRA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, AURANGABAD

MAHARASHTRA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, AURANGABAD The tricolour emblem of Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLUA) has the picture of Kailash Temple pillar from Ellora caves located in Aurangabad supported by the swooshes of tricolour within a circle. This is ensconced by a blue and tricolour decorative borders in which its name and place are inscribed. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः’ ( Mahabharata ) meaning ‘Where There is Dharma, There will Be Victory’ is inscribed below the seal.

NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, JODHPUR

NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, JODHPUR National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ) has an abstract depiction of the Indian National Flag supported by an open book, on which ‘We the People of India…’ is written. These motifs are ensconced by a white border with blue outlines bearing the name of the university alongwith its motto ‘Knowledge is Empowerment’. The tricolour National Flag and the quotation on the book represents the nation and its constitution and the open book denotes education, learning, knowledge and wisdom.

THE GLOBAL OPEN UNIVERSITY The Global Open University (TGOU), Nagaland is a State University established by the Government of Nagaland under The Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006) and received the assent of the Governor of Nagaland on August 30, 2006. The emblem of the university has a globe coloured in the national tricolours with its name written below. The globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness.

ASSAM RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT

ASSAM RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management (ARGUCOM) is the first cooperative management university in the country established by the Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management Act, 2010 and recognised by UGC vide its letter No. F.9-21/2011 (CPP-1/PU) dated February 27, 2012. The emblem of the university has a hexagon with a rising sun in orange background, white open book and green base, which is ensconced by another hexagon of six hands holding symbolising cooperation and cooperative strength. The acronym of the university is written on the white book. This is supported by a pair of laurels. The name of the university is written on a bluish green banner and its year of establishment is written on the counter of the laurels. ABDUL HAQ URDU UNIVERSITY The Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University (DAHUU) has been established by an Act of the State Legislature Government of Andhra Pradesh (Act No. 13 of 2016, published May 7, 2016). The Act was amended as Act No 35/2018.The emblem of the university emphasizes on the importance of promoting mother tongue, the regional language and an international language. The tricolour borderlines of the circle represent the nation; the golden sunflower reflects the culture of the State of Andhra Pradesh. The green half cog represents the importance of science; the book promotes a love for learning and honest research, the letter in orange is the acronym AHUU. ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY Adikavi Nannaya University was established on April 22, 2006, by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly to meet the higher education needs of East and West Godavari districts. The emblem of Adikavi Nannaya University represents human quest for knowledge and righteousness, wisdom and wealth, harmonising nativity and tradition. The name of the university is written in English in between inner and outer lines having tricolours of India, with the Asoka Dharma Chakra placed atop, which stands for righteousness. The circle of sixty four flowers on the Buddhist Stupa in Saranath, reflects the sixty four traditional arts and sciences. The rising sun represents the spread of knowledge. UTTARAKHAND RESIDENTIAL UNIVERSDITY

UTTARAKHAND RESIDENTIAL UNIVERSDITY Uttarakhand Residential University (URU) also called Uttarakhand Aawasiya Viswavidyalaya came into existence on September 6, 2016 by the Act No.20 of the State of Uttarakhand. Its logo is circular with a shield, a banner and a blue border. The shield and the banner are placed inside the border on a tricolour background. The shield has a blue border and is crested with a red rising sun from the Himalayan Mountains, which are supported by an open book with a pen and bulb on it. Below this a ball of flowers is placed. At the bottom of these is a banner carrying its motto and year of establishment is placed. All the natural elements depict the geography of the State of Uttarakhand.
