HIMACHAL PRADESH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has ‘t’ and ‘u’ with a traditional lamp and open book transforming into a white lotus placed within an orange circular gear forming the border. The gear is inscribed with the name of the university in Devanagari and English. Below the gear, on a blue banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘कर्मणि व्यच्ज्यते प्रज्ञा’ meaning ‘Wisdom is Expressed in Action’ is inscribed. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the open book represents knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the gear wheel represents interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and

ASSAM WOMEN'S UNIVERSITY The Assam Women’s University (AWU) has been established by an act XXII of 2013 of State Legislature of Assam as a State University. The emblem of the university motif of a woman's head in orange colour and forehead with a red colour bindi, supported by an open book symbolising knowledge, education and wisdom. Below these its acronym is placed. These are ensconced in an oval border with blue outlines, which bears its name in and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आप्नोति प्रज्ञया सत्यम्’ meaning ‘Attaining Wisdom Through Truth’. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

APEX UNIVERSITY Apex University (AU), Jaipur was established by Sanjay Shiksha Samiti (SSS) which has been providing quality education since 1965. The emblem of the university has a shield holding the picture of the founder Dr. S. M. Juniwal on its right half, on a red background and in the left half , which is divided into two portions, one holds five stars in a blue background and the other with orange background holds the motifs of a sun supported by an open book. At its right the name of the university is written in serif font. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; stars symbolise positivity, happiness and renewal; the sun symbolises light, illumination, life, energy, power, positivity and clarity and the open book symbolises knowledge, education and wisdom.

SRM UNIVERSITY HARYANA SRM University Haryana (SRMUH) was established as a State Private University under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006 (as amended by Haryana Act No. 8 of 2013). The emblem of the university has a motif of a fully grown tree in white colour on a blue circle, ensconced by a white border bearing its name and place. This is circumscribed by an orange circle, a white circle and glowing rays in orange and red. At the bottom on a white banner the university’s motto ‘Learn. Leap. Lead’ is written. The tree symbolises strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything.
