MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF CHANDIGARH The blue colour circular emblem of Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh (MCC) has a rose supported by the ‘Open Hand’ which is a giant metallic sculpture of the Capital Complex of Chandigarh, with a backdrop of ‘M’. These are ensconced in a circular border which carries the name of the institution. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

STATE INDUSTRIES PROMOTION CORPORATION OF TAMILNADU LIMITED The red colour emblem of State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (SIPCOT) is a pair of hands holding a gear wheel and its acronym written on a platform below the hands. All these are placed in an oval with an outline. The gear wheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure and the pair of hands denotes support, help and guidance and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.  

CHANDIGARH TOURISM The green and blue emblem of Chandigarh Tourism has a green square plot of land supporting a waterbody, trees and a bush and the Union Territory’s official emblem of hand motif. At the bottom its name is written in blue. The logo communicates that the place is exceptionally green with vegetation and is an environmentally interesting and vacationable one. The logo is attractive and interesting.

JHARKHAND STATE COOPERATIVE MILK PRODUCERS' FEDERATION LIMITED The green circular emblem of Jharkhand State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited (JSMPF) has a map of the State of Jharkhand supporting a splashing drop of milk surmounted by a pair of shaking hands. These are ensconced by a circle and with its name circumscribing it. NATIONAL CREDIT GUARANTEE TRUSTEE COMPANY LTD. The logo of National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company Ltd. (NCGTC) has two hands in orange and blue. The blue hand is also a bird. The bird lifts the aspirations and the dreams of the orange to take a flight. The pair of hands also symbolises friendship, trust and cooperation. Its acronym is written below the pictorial in Devanagari and English. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA, KOLASIB, MIZORAM The green and yellow emblem of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kolasib, Mizoram (KVK) has a green hand holding a circular motif with a green border on which its name, pace and its year of inception are inscribed. Inside the circle a bold motif of cereal with yellow colour crests and green colour leaves are placed. This is an attractive, simple and meaningful emblem serving its purpose well. ICAR-CENTRAL INSTITUTE ON POST HARVEST ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY The emblem of ICAR-Central Institute on Post Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) has an apple protected by a pair of hands and supported by a pair of ears of a cereal is ensconced by a gear wheel. The apple and ears are protected by the caring hands with the support of technology and engineering as represented by the gear. Below the gear, the acronym of the Institute is written in Devanagari and English.

NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTRE FOR BANANA The oval shaped yellow and black emblem of National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB) has a border with black outlines bearing the name of the Centre and place housing a hand of bananas.

DIRECT BENEFIT TRANSFER IN AGRICULTURE The blue, green and purple emblem of Direct Benefit Transfer in Agriculture (DBTA) has a pair of hands supporting the Rupee symbol promoting a tree with green leaves. These are ensconced by an inverse blue arc on which ‘DBT Agri Portal’ is inscribed.

DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES The emblem of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences (BRAUSS) has a blue circle housing the motifs of a torch held by multiple hands supported by an open book. This is ensconced by a white circular border with blue outlines on which the name and place of the university is inscribed. Below the circular seal on a white banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘अत्त दीपो भव’ meaning ‘Be Your Own Lamp’ is inscribed. The torch held by multiple hands symbolises eternity, collectivism and growth and the open book symbolises education, knowledge, learning and wisdom.

MAHATMA PHULE KRISHI VIDYAPEETH The emblem of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) has three green leaves surmounted by its name and supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘अन्नं बहु कुर्वीत तद् व्रतम्’ (Verse 1, Chapter 9, Bhrigu Valli, Taittiriya Upanishad) meaning ‘Thou Shalt Increase and Amass Food’. These are ensconced by a red circular border created with the motifs 44 humans holding their hands, signifying unity is strength. The leaves represent the agriculture and agriculturist; the leaves denote growth and rebirth; the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy.

DEV SANSKRITI VISHWAVIDYALAYA The emblem of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya (DSVV) has a hand holding a torch supported by multitude of students and teachers placed over a globe of earth, which is ensconced by a sun with glowing rays. These are supported by the motif of Himalayan Mountain range, below which waters of the river flow from the mountains. These are supported by a blue circular border on which its name is written in Devanagari and at the bottom of the waters of the river its motto in Sanskrit ‘सा प्रथमा संस्कृति र्विश्ववारा’ (7.14, Yajurveda) meaning ‘Vedic Culture is Worthy of Everybody’s Choice’ is written. RANCHI UNIVERSITY Ranchi University came into existence on July 12, 1960 as an autonomous institution as it was carved out of erstwhile Bihar University. It underwent tetra-furcation with creation of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag (1992), Nilambar Pitambar University, Medini Nagar (2009), Kolhan University, Chaibasa (2009) and Dr Shyama Prasad Mukharjee University, Ranchi (2019). INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY Established on October 1, 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT) of the University of Bombay (now Mumbai). The UDCT was granted partial autonomy by the University of Mumbai in 1985. It was converted into University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT) on January 26, 2002 and it was granted full autonomy in 2004. The institute was converted into a Deemed to be University by the Government of India, on September 12, 2008. ICT Mumbai Indian Oil Odisha Campus at Bhubaneswar was established on March 18, 2018. THE CHARUTAR VIDYA MANDAL (CVM) UNIVERSITY On March 3, 1945, an educational township named Vallabh Vidyanagar was proposed as a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The University was established in 1999 by Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), an educational Society. The emblem of the university in tones of blue has a lotus five petals of which two are yellow holds the motifs of a hand holding a pen - the tool for writing, the second one holding a scroll - the certificate for academic achievement, the third one holding an open book - symbol of knowledge and wisdom and the fourth one holding a flask for conducting scientific experiments.
