NAINITAL BANK LIMITED The Nainital Bank Limited was established in the year 1922 by Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant and few other prominent personalities of Nainital with the objective to cater banking needs of the people of the region. At present Bank of Baroda holds 98.57 percent share holding in Nainital Bank Limited and remaining 1.43 percent shares are held by the public. The bank’s emblem is a stylized representation of the Himalayas, with the snow-capped peaks representing the bank's strength and stability in the background and a sailboat on a Naini lake in the foreground, symbolising the bank's connection to its roots and the region it serves. The reddish brown colour of the emblem represents trust and reliability, while the white colour represents integrity and excellence. EMBLEM OF HARYANA The state of Haryana was split from Punjab state on November 1,1966. The main part of the actual state was ceded to the East India Company in 1803. In 1832 it was added to the Northwest Provinces and in 1858 to Punjab to which it belonged until 1966. In the centre of the state the Principality of Jind was located. The emblem of Haryana shows a sun and a lotus-flower rising from a lake. The title of the emblem is 'Government of Haryana'. It is surrounded by a garland of ears of wheat and has the national symbol with motto of the Indian Republic as a crest.
