ICAR-CENTRAL ARID ZONE RESEARCH INSTITUTE The circular emblem of ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI) has a red border bearing the Institute’s name in Devanagari and English. The circular border houses the motifs of arid landscape with sun, goat, tree, shrubs, computer and a solar powered instrument, all representing the nature and scope of the institute’s activities. At the bottom its year of inception is inscribed.

KERALA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY The Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) emblem symbolises the emergence of life forms. It depicts a healthy bud with eleven leaves growing from a seed in a test tube placed in a decorative pot. The seed represents knowledge and the soil in the test tube represents science and technology. The bud produces plants and animals for human sustenance. The name of the university circumscribes the bud and at the bottom on a panel a pig, a goat and a cattle are shown.

SRI VENKATESWARA VETERINARY UNIVERSITY

SRI VENKATESWARA VETERINARY UNIVERSITY Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU), Tirupati was established vide Act No.18, 2005 of Government of Andhra Pradesh with a mandate to strengthen education, research and extension activities in veterinary, dairy and fishery sciences. The then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated the university in the premises of College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati. The university has faculties of veterinary science, dairy science and fishery science and started functioning from July 15, 2005 at ANGRAU campus and with Tirupati as headquarters from April 1, 2006 ( SVVU ).  The predominantly blue colour circular emblem has a blue circular border which bears the name of the university in Telugu and English. Within the circle on a white background motifs of caduceus the staff of Hermes, depicted entwined with a snake and wings and topped by a torch supported by the Thirunamam or Namam and an open book; a waterbody with fish; a grassing

NATIONAL MEAT AND POULTRY PROCESSING BOARD The Government of India launched National Meat and Poultry Processing Board (NMPPB) on February 19, 2009. The formation of NMPPB has been notified in the Gazette of India Extraordinary vide notification no 127 dated 20th January, 2009. The National Meat and Poultry Processing Board is an autonomous body and was initially be funded by the Government of India for two years and would be managed by the industry itself. The Board will have 19 Members including CEO of the Board. This industry driven institution is to work as a National hub for addressing all key issues related to meat and poultry processing sector for the systematic and proper development of this sector. The Board would serve as a single window service provider for producers / manufacturers and exporters of meat and meat products, for promoting and regulating the meat industry as a whole and it would result in large number of employment opportunities. The logo in red and yellow symb
