ACHINTYA AYURYOGA The yellow, green and brown emblem of Achintya Ayuryoga has a pictorial and a word mark. The pictorial takes the shape of Lord Ganesha and that of a lotus with a leaf growing out. Its name surmounts the motif in brown and green colours. The border is inscribed with its name and place. The lion refers to power, strength, courage and sovereignty; the trident denotes creation, preservation and destruction; the twin lotuses denote purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the letter ஓம் or Ohm is a symbol representing a sacred sound, syllable, mantra and an invocation.

KARUNA YOGA VIDYA PEETHAM The emblem of Karuna Yoga Vidya Peetham (KYVP) has a blue circle housing a motif of a person in yoga posture and its name written in white and yellow. The yoga motif is created with two strokes of yellow and a stroke of white with fluid brush strokes. The motif refers to the ease and convenience of doing and practising yoga. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘आर्त्त सेवा सर्व भद्रः शोधशच’ meaning ‘Service to the Community, Care of the Needy and Research for the Good of All’. These are ensconced by a light yellow border which carries its name and place. The staff refers to medicine and the medical profession; the lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the leaves and the flowers refer to life, growth and nurturing and the colour light green symbolises new life and growth.

This is supported by a green swoosh, below which its name is written orange serif typeface and its tagline ‘Connect with Yourself’ in green. At the bottom an orange colour ornament is provided. The lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the colours used project a feeling of vibrancy, passion, dynamism and energy for discovery. Overall it is a logo for the human mind and emotions.
