MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF CHANDIGARH The blue colour circular emblem of Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh (MCC) has a rose supported by the ‘Open Hand’ which is a giant metallic sculpture of the Capital Complex of Chandigarh, with a backdrop of ‘M’. These are ensconced in a circular border which carries the name of the institution. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), was established on October 2, 1972 by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh as the first technological university in the country. JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, GURAJADA Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering, Vizianagaram was established in the year 2007 as a constituent college of JNTU, Hyderabad. JNTU, Hyderabad was trifurcated into three universities by the Andhra Pradesh Act No. 30 of 2008 and since Augustt 24, 2008, the college has become the constituent college of JNTU, Kakinada. The university started as College of Engineering Visakhapatnam founded by the Government of the composite Madras State in 1946. The college became a constituent of JNTU, Hyderabad in 1972. Consequent to the trifurcation of the JNTU, Hyderabad, it was notified as JNTUK Kakinada by the Act of legislature in 2008. JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, ANANTAPUR The College of Engineering, Anantapur was started at Guindy, Madras in 1946 and shifted to Anantapur in 1948. The college was affiliated to Madras University during 1946-1955 and to Sri Venkateswara University during 1955-1972. In 1972, by an Act of State Legislature, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University was established at Hyderabad and the College of Engineering, Anantapur went into the fold of JNTU. SRI KONDA LAXMAN TELANGANA STATE HORTICULTURAL UNIVERSITY Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTSHU) was established on December 23, 2014.
