INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE The Indian Super League (ISL) is India’s unrivalled football championship which kicked off on October 12, 2014. The inaugural winners of the league were ATK FC, while Chennaiyin FC were the winners of the second season. The league is co-promoted by Reliance, Star India and supported by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). KNIGHT RIDERS SPORTS PVT. LTD. Knight Riders Sports Pvt. Ltd. (KRSPL). KRSPL operates a professional twenty20 cricket team - Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as one of the teams participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL). KKR are a franchise cricket team representing the city of Kolkata in the Indian Premier League. The franchise is owned by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta. The Knight Riders play at the Eden Gardens stadium. The official theme of the team is Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo Re (We will Perform, Fight and Win!) and the official colours are purple and gold. Its gold and purple emblem of helmet and shield of equestrian knights protecting their lords has an angled and blazing (Burganet) helmet atop a shield and its name is on the shield in gold colour. The graphics and the stylized font are custom designed to give the feel of a modern-day sports fighter.

ST. XAVIER'S UNIVERSITY, KOLKATA St. Xavier's University, Kolkata is a Jesuit university located in New Town, Kolkata, India. It was established on February 8, 2017 as per the notification of the Government of West Bengal, and inaugurated on July 7, 2017. The Crest of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, is modelled on Jassu Crest of the University Patron, Saint Francis Xavier's family. It has been adapted to local surroundings, suggestive of a native flavour of a University in India. The escutcheon in white and blue contains a tiger and a palm tree, overlooked by a silver crescent moon, which symbolises the palacio of Xavier. The charge on the Dexter, IHS, bespeaks a University of the Society of Jesus (Iesus Hominum Salvator - Jesus, Savior of Human Family). KOLKATA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (KMRCL) is a Government of India enterprise implementing Kolkata (East-West Metro) Corridor Project. KMRCL's Project upon completion will connect Salt Lake Sector-V in the East and Howrah Maidan in the West. There shall be six elevated stations and six underground stations. The line will have interchange with existing terminals of Indian railways at Howrah and Sealdah. Its green red and blue emblem has a pair of concentric hexagons symbolising underground, safety and environment friendliness; has two arrow heads in blue and red facing opposite directions meaning to-and-fro transport.

METRO RAILWAY, KOLKATA Metro Railway, Kolkata is the first underground Metro in India. It extends from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash Metro station near Garia, on the busy North-South axis of Kolkata over a length of 31.365 Kms with 26 Stations and 15.70 Kms. of underground section. The Dum Dum - Tollygunge corridor was first selected for implementation and work started on December 29, 1972 and the first line of about 3.4 km between Esplanade and Bhowanipur in India was completed on October 24, 1984 and thrown open for the public. In Phase-I, a length of 16.45 Kms. from Dum Dum to Tollygunge (Mahanayak Uttam Kumar) completed in 1995 and in Phase-II a length of 5.834 Kms from Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to Kavi Nazrul Metro station is completed in August, 2009.
