ALL INDIA RADIO India’s National Broadcaster and also the premier Public Service Broadcaster, All India Radio (AIR) with brand name Akashvani has been serving to inform, educate and entertain the masses since its inception by truly living up to its motto - ‘Bahujan Hitaya : Bahujan Sukhaya’. One of the largest broadcasting organisations in the world in terms of the number of languages of broadcast, the spectrum of socio-economic and cultural diversity it serves, AIR’s home service comprises 479 stations, located across the country, reaching nearly 92% of the country’s area and 99.19% of the total population. ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC)  is a premier medical institute of India acknowledged as a centre of excellence for education and research. The college provides training to under-graduate and post-graduate medical and nursing students with assured career prospects in the defence services. The institute was set up on 01 May 1948 by an act of parliament of India on the recommendations of the BC Roy Committee by the amalgamation of various defence medical organizations. The ‘Graduate Wing’ of AFMC was established on  August 04, 1962 to provide a sustainable and steady intake of medical officers for the Indian Armed Forces. ARCHAEOLOGICAL SURVEY OF INDIA The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), under the Ministry of Culture , is the premier organization for the archaeological researches and protection of the cultural heritage of the nation. Maintenance of ancient monuments and archaeological sites and remains of national importance is the prime concern of the ASI. Besides it regulates all archaeological activities in the country as per the provisions of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958. It also regulates Antiquities and Art Treasure Act, 1972. For the maintenance of ancient monuments and archaeological sites and remains of national importance the entire country is divided into 24 circles. HOCKEY INDIA

HOCKEY INDIA Hockey India (HI) is the new governing body of field hockey in India. It was formed after Indian Hockey Federation was dismissed in 2008 by IOA. Headquartered in New Delhi, HI was established on May 20, 2009 and is affiliated to the International Hockey Federation (FIH), the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and Asian Hockey Federation (AHF). Hockey India with the assistance of Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Department of Sports (DoS), Government of India, trains players at sub-junior, junior and senior level. The governing body engages in coaching the coaches, educates and equips technical officials and umpires. HI launched its logo in a ceremony on July 24, 2008, which is made up of twenty four hockey sticks in blue colour resembling Ashok Chakra of Indian flag.
