SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY PARKS OF INDIA The blue and black logo of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) has a wordmark of its acronym in English and Devanagari  in extra bold sans serif typeface in blue is overdrawn by a satellite antenna and supported by a floppy. The logo was prominent and informative and highly legible. The colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

CHHATTISGARH SWAMI VIVEKANAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) has gear wheel, houses Ashoka Chakra, the national emblem surrounded by satellite antenna, a satellite, a bridge and a testing instrument. The gear wheel is inscribed with the name and place of the university.  Below the gear wheel, on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानं ज्ञेयं परिज्ञाता’ (Shloka 18, Chapter 18, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Knowledge, the Object of Knowledge and the Knower’. The gear wheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure and the other motifs denote engineering and technology.

MAULANA ABUL KALAM AZAD UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY The emblem of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) has a blue shield, a dark blue band bearing its acronym. Above the band three gear wheels and below a satellite antenna are placed. The name of the university surmounts the shield. Below the shield its motto ‘In Pursuit of Knowledge and Excellence’ is inscribed on a banner. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gears symbolise interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order; structure and the antenna denotes engineering and technology and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

MAHARAJA GANGA SINGH UNIVERSITY The circular emblem of Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) has the motifs of a traditional lamp with a swan in stem supported by its year of establishment, rising sun, satellite antenna, an open book and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वेषां भूषणं विद्या’ meaning ‘Education is the Best of All the Embellishments’ are housed in a circular border in orange colour. The border is inscribed with the name and place of the university in Devanagari and English. The rising sun symbolises ight, universal prosperity and path for growth; the traditional lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the antenna symbolises new age communication and connectivity and the open book symbolises education, learning, knowledge and wisdom.

PROFESSOR JAYASHANKAR TELANGANA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

PROFESSOR JAYASHANKAR TELANGANA STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY The green and red circular seal of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) has a gear wheel holding a map of the State of Telangana housing the motifs of spikes of cereal, a satellite dish antenna, a village house, an open book and a microscope. All these motifs symbolise agriculture and agricultural education and research in Telangana. The gear wheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure. The gear is surrounded by a white border, which bears the name of the university in Telugu and its year of establishment. This is supported by a pair of laurels meaning ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication. All these are ensconced by a red circular border on which its name is inscribed.

BIHAR AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

BIHAR AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour was established August 5, 2010 is a basic and strategic institution supporting more than five hundred researchers and educationists towards imparting education at graduate and postgraduate levels. The emblem of the university has the motifs of a helical structure of DNA, a satellite antenna, an open book and a cow supported by a pair of laurels of wheat heads and ensconced by a gear wheel. These are surrounded by a circular border on which the name and place of the university is inscribed in English and Devanagari. The cow and antenna represent agriculture and information technology; the open book denotes education, knowledge and wisdom, the laurels denote food, prosperity, success and hard work and the gear wheel denotes interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure.

SARDAR BEANT SINGH STATE UNIVERSITY Sardar Beant Singh State University (SBSSU), Gurdaspur was established by the Government of Punjab as an autonomous institution through registered society. The foundation stone was laid on February 28,1994 and the college was inaugurated on August 20, 1995 by the Chief Minister Sardar Beant Singh. The emblem of the university has a circular gear wheel outer with red circular outline. The central light colour circle has the motifs of a factory with smoking chimney, a dish antenna, a computer, a mechanical equipment and a banner with the motto in Punjabi ‘ਨਿਸਚੈ ਕਰ ਅਪਨੀ ਜੀਤ ਕਰੋ’ meaning ‘Make Sure You Win’ inscribed on it. These are ensconced by a yellow circular border, which carries the name of the university and its place. TAMILNADU TEACHERS EDUCATION UNIVERSITY

TAMILNADU TEACHERS EDUCATION UNIVERSITY The Government of Tamil Nadu enacted Act No.(33) of 2008 to provide for the establishment and incorporation of Tamilnadu Teachers Education University (TTEU) in the State of Tamil Nadu for promoting excellence in teachers education, which came into effect from July 1, 2008. The yellow, green and blue emblem of TTEU consists of a crest with a ribbon with a shield in the centre of the crest. The shield is divided into three parts, which depicts the three major domains of education namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The first domain has the satellite antenna which depicts the communication and transmission. The second has the computer which denotes innovation and technology. The third has the teacher with students which describes psychology, sociology and management. Around the shield, the name of the University is imprinted in Tamil in a circle. The university’s emblem has a wankel shield, which is divided into three parts where a computer, a dish antenna and a gear wheel are placed. The shield is crested by a mortarboard hat and supported by green laurels. Below this on a blue tone banner its motto ‘Justice Peace Revolution’ is written. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NAGALAND

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NAGALAND National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NITN), an Institute of National importance is a higher education technical Institute located at Chumukedima (Dimapur), Nagaland. It is one among the ten newly approved NITs by the Government of India in 2009 under the 11th Five Year Plan and it started functioning from the academic year 2010. Its emblem has a dodecagonal leaf platter on which, circular motif is placed inside a border. The dark green colour border has its name, supported by a pair of Ashoka Chakras and its motto ‘Education is Power’ written on it. Inside the circular space, with the background of a mountain, land and waterbody a pair of hornbills, a Naga shield with helical DNA structure, an opened book with an antenna, telecommunication tower, atomic structure, magnetic force illustration and an electric transmission tower are placed. At the bottom of the book ‘2010’, its founding year is written. 

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RAIPUR

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RAIPUR National Institute of Technology Raipur (Formerly Government Engineering College Raipur) is situated in the capital the State of Chhattisgarh3. From December 1, 2005, the institute has become the National Institute of Technology. The circular multicolour emblem has a shining sun in the centre with the backdrop of circumnutating squares, supported by a bridge, a glass flask, an antenna and a helical structure of DNA. This is ensconced in circular gear. This assemblage has a border in which the name of the institute is written in English and Devanagari.
