RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY Ravenshaw is the oldest institution of higher education in the state of Odisha and one of the oldest institutions of higher education in India. It was founded in 1868 with intermediate level classes at the Cuttack Zilla School (now Ravenshaw Collegiate School). It became widely known as Cuttack College until it was rechristened Ravenshaw College. Ravenshaw College was elevated to the status of a full-fledged university on November 15, 2006. The emblem of the university has a plaque which bears its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानमेव शक्ति’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Power’ on top with the rest of the portion divided into three parts by the rivers of Mahanadi and Kathajodi, which are flowing in Cuttack. RENAISSANCE UNIVERSITY Renaissance University (RU) is a UGC approved University in Indore located in a thirty acre campus. In the emblem of university, the book is the base that signifies that the roots are in knowledge, education and becoming aware. The darkened background shows that though in the world there are a number of negative forces, the tiny light from the lamp of knowledge can overcome them. The little greenery signifies hope, that there is still a room for goodness, freshness and creation to live. It affirms to remain persevering and hopeful. The outer circle of the logo denotes multiple intelligence propounded by Howard Gardner.

RIMT UNIVERSITY RIMT University was started in 1998 by Shri Om Parkash Bansal Educational and Social Welfare Trust. The red and blue emblem of the university has an open book crested by a traditional lamp and decorated on both sides by floral designs. At the bottom a blue colour lotus is supporting all these motifs. Below the lotus on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ meaning ‘Lead Me from Darkness to Light’ is written.The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the open book symbolises knowledge and wisdom ; the lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the colour red  signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

REVA UNIVERSITY Established in 2012, Reva University (RU) is a forerunner in delivering technology based education. The logo of the university depicts ‘Srivatsa’ or ‘the endless knot’ in orange colour. The Srivatsa has rich significance in the religions of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. It represents the interplay of opposite forces in the world and a final merging of the dual, leading to harmony. It binds and connects all the stakeholders - the teacher and the learner at one level and at another level connects the individual units of the institution to make it a harmonious whole. The ‘endless knot’ signifies the continuous process of learning. RISHIHOOD UNIVERSITY Rishihood University was established in 2020 after the Haryana Legislative Assembly passed the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2020. Rishihood University is India’s first and only Impact University. Its emblem is a lowercase ‘r’ placed as a cut out above an orange and red coloured shield. At its right the name of the university is written in lowercase serif font in grey. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
