GANDHI GRAM INSTITUTE OF RURAL HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE TRUST The orange and brown insignia of Gandhi Gram Institute of Rural Health and Family Welfare Trust (GIRHFWT) has a traditional hut housing a traditional lamp supported by the Staff of Caduceus. The orange seal has a brown outline. The hut refers to the rural beneficiaries ; the lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

GARDEN CITY UNIVERSITY The orange and brown emblem of Garden City University (GCU) has a monogram of its acronym placed in a brown square and its name written on the right side. Below this its motto ‘Emphasis on Life’ is written. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour brown symbolises  earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR The University of Jammu and Kashmir was founded in 1948. In the year 1969 it was bifurcated into University of Kashmir (UoK) at Srinagar and University of Jammu at Jammu. The UoK is situated at Hazratbal in Srinagar. The orange and brown circular emblem of the university has a tree, a glowing torch and an open book held in a circle and ensconced by a brown banner on which its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ on one side and its name in Kashmiri on the other side. CLUSTER UNIVERSITY, KURNOOL Cluster University was established on April 22, 1980, by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly to meet the higher education needs of East and West Godavari districts. The university was established on the banks of the river Godavari. The emblem of the university has a shield with a brown outline supported by an orange banner with its name on it. The shield holds the motifs of a trophy, an open book, a gear wheel and mortarboard hat with a scroll of diploma. The name of the university is written on the right of the shield in orange sans serif bold capital letters. DAKSHINA CHITRA MUSEUM Dakshina Chitra Museum is a cross cultural living museum of art, architecture, lifestyles, crafts and performing arts of South India. It is a project of Madras Craft Foundation, an NGO was opened to the public on December 14, 1996 and is located overlooking the Bay of Bengal, at Muttukadu, near Chennai. The authentic homes in a regional vernacular style are purchased, taken down, transported and reconstructed by artisans (Stapathis) of the regions from where the houses came. Its insignia has a traditional ‘kolam’ made using a single intersecting line filled with four dots in brown colour on an orange square. Its name is written on top and its slogan is written below the kolam. The four triangles formed by the motif represent each of the four States of Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka. THE ASSAM KAZIRANGA UNIVERSITY The Assam Kaziranga University was founded in 2012 and is known as KU. The University has been promoted by the North Eastern Knowledge Foundation (NEKF) trust of Khetan industrial group. The insignia of the university is the one-horned rhino found in the Kaziranga, symbolises uniqueness. It also stands for steadfast concentration in one's pursuit, overcoming obstacles of all kinds coming in the way. The rhino represents a confident and disciplined lifestyle that is not drifting aimlessly, but is respectfully connected to its roots. The sun on the top right corner, the timeless star of life, symbolises knowledge as the eternal source of enlightenment. Overall, the shield is supposed to protect us from the invasion of ignorance in our lifelong pursuit of true knowledge and its humanist applications beyond. The orange border hints at the shining glory that rewards every stellar performance upon completion.

VIVEKANANDA GLOBAL UNIVERSITY Vivekananda Global University (VGU) is run by the Bagaria Education Trust. VGU was established by the Rajasthan State Assembly Act 11/2012 and sponsored by Bagaria Education Trust, Jaipur. The emblem of the university in orange and tones of brown has a profile of Swami Vivekananda as the motif on a white segment of a circle, ensconced by the name of the university and a border line. Below the portrait on a broad banner its acronym ‘VGU’ is written and on the base of the logo the name of the place is written.
