RISHIKESH YOG VALLEY The mark of Rishikesh Yog Valley has a red motif of a person doing yoga supported by a pink lotus. Its name is written on the right in brown italics. The name is supported by a range of mountains and a flowing river in blue. Below the motif a Sanskrit sloka is written.

MAHABODHI INTERNATIONAL MEDITATION CENTRE The rectangular pictorial emblem of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) has a a range of snow clad mountains in the background with a green foreground having a stupa. A human being pushes a red wheel of life and dharma up the slope towards the stupa. This symbolises the stove for achieving the pinnacle of meditation through yogic practice.

SINDHU CENTRAL UNIVERSITY The white circular emblem of  the Sindhu Central University (SCU) has black outlines. The inner circle houses the motifs of a pair of laurels holding an open book crested by its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या सर्वत्र प्रकाशते’ meaning ‘Knowledge Shines Everywhere’ and supported by the mountains of Himalayas with a river flowing down. The outer circle is inscribed with its name in Devanagari and English. The Himalayas and the river refer to the geography; the open book refers to the knowledge, education, learning and wisdom and the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

ARUNACHAL TOURISM The emblem of Arunachal Tourism is a red sun supporting the motifs of mountain range and green pine trees. Below the pictorial its name is written on a blue banner and at the bottom its tagline ‘Gateway to Serenity’ is written. Arunachal Pradesh is the State of rising sun and it is the first State, which receives the rays of sun, the mountains and trees represent the State’s attractive geography. The colours red and green form a pleasant pictorial, which is attractive.

DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND CIVIL AVIATION, GOVERNMENT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH The emblem of the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of Himachal Pradesh (DTCA,HP) has a portion of an apple and two pine trees surmounted by peaks of mountains and crested by sun. These are supported by its name ‘Himachal Tourism’. The red, green, yellow and black coloured insignia aptly informs the viewer about what the State has to offer to a tourist. The logo is interesting, unique and attractive.

TRIPURA TOURISM The emblem of Tripura Tourism (TT) has multiple motifs representing the State of Tripura forming a shape of the map of Tripura. This is supported by its name written at the right bottom with ‘Tripura ‘ written in sans serif bold with multiple colours denoting the varied and extensive culture and traditions of the State. The motifs in the map include rivers, mountains, forests, mask for dance, temple facade, pineapple, rising sun, sugarcane, local woman, splashing of colours and a monkey. The emblem is attractive and communicates the places of interests effortlessly and it is dynamic.

It is a ‘Deemed to be University’, autonomous, fully funded and controlled by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The red colour lotus petals shaped emblem holds the motifs of a rising sun on eight mountains representing the eight States of the northeast of India. On the rising sun its acronym is written. VEER CHANDRA SINGH GARHWALI UTTARAKHAND UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURE & FORESTRY Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (VCSG UUHF) is a prominent agricultural university located in Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. It was established on December 17, 2011 under the Uttarakhand State Act 2011. Its emblem has a pine tree supported by a pair of trees, a jumping deer and a pheasant in the backdrop of mountains. The pine tree is supported by a woman and a man holding an open book and holding a shining torch. These are ensconced in green and white borders which carry the name of the university and year of establishment in English and Devanagari respectively. ARUNACHAL PRADESH RURAL BANK Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) is a Scheduled Bank established on November 30, 1983 under Regional Rural Bank Act 1976. It is sponsored by State Bank of India in collaboration with the Government of India and Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The circular emblem of the APRB has green mountains with red sun rising from them in a sky-blue background, ensconced by a green border bearing the name of the bank. The mountains and sun represent the sunrise State of Arunachal Pradesh and also denote the new beginning for the people and industry of rural areas of the State. Light blue colour denotes the vast opportunities the opens up for the stakeholders and the trust one can repose on the bank. Green is the colour of hope, freedom, agriculture, nature and fertility which the bank intends to promote.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY

ASSAM UNIVERSITY Assam University came into existence in 1994 after enactment of the Assam (Central) University Act 1989. The emblem of the university has mountains and river surrounded by semi circular rays of sun in the upper half and traditional Assamese hat in the lower half. The name of the university and place are placed around the circle on top. Its motto in Sanskrit is ‘प्रत्यबोधकृतिरुपपत्य’ placed at the bottom of the circle supported a open book.

SRI CHAITANYA EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS In 1986 after practising medicine in the UK and Iran for sixteen years, Dr. B.S. Rao and his wife Dr. Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Boppana returned to India to start the first Sri Chaitanya school in Vijayawada. This was the starting point for the establishment of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions. The logo of the institution has a waterbody with lotuses, with a backdrop of mountains and rising sun, above which a feather stick of peacock, a flute with a swan head and a book with Lord Ganesah are placed. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY UNA Indian Institute of Information Technology Una (IIIT Una) is one of the twenty IIITs being set up, funded and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. Its emblem has a gear wheel with twelve teeth in yellow ochre, on which its name is written in Devanagari and English. It encircles a motif of WiFi, supported by a book, below which a blue sun, the Himalayan mountains with rivers flowing at the foot are depicted on a brown background. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या सर्वज्ञ गौरवः’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Omniscient Pride’ is placed at the bottom.
