ALAKH PRAKASH GOYAL SHIMLA UNIVERSITY The yellow and red emblem of Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University (AGU) has a shield which houses the motifs of Himalayan landscape and a mortarboard hat with its name and year of inception written on. At the right of the shield the name of the university is written in bold sans serif typeface. On a banner placed over the shield at the bottom its motto ‘Here Nature Nurtures Young Minds’ is inscribed. The shield represents protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity.

SIKKIM SKILL UNIVERSITY The dark blue and yellowish circular emblem of the Sikkim Skill University (SSU) holds a motif of Himalayas with rising sun and flying birds in a circle. These are ensconced by a dark blue border on which the name of the university is inscribed. The mountains represent the geography of the locale, the rising sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the flying birds symbolise good fortune and that one’s hard work is paying off. The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

SIKKIM INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY The insignia of the Sikkim International University (SIU) has a circle holding the motifs of Himalayas with flowing rivers; an open book and a traditional lamp. These are ensconced by a circular border with its name and place inscribed. This is further circumscribed by a traditional running design motif of the State. The mountains and the river represent the geography of the university; the open book denotes knowledge, education and wisdom and the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

BABA GHULAM SHAH BADSHAH UNIVERSITY Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has come into existence by an Act of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly called the Jammu & Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act No. XVI of 2002 and the same is recognised by the AICTE and UGC, New Delhi, under sections 2F and 12 B. The university is patronised by the Jammu & Kashmir Wakf Council. The motto of the university is ‘إقرا باسم ربك الذي خلق’ which means, ‘Read in the Name of God who has Created all that Exists’. The emblem of the university has a dome of a mosque in a blue arch holding the motifs of moon with rings around, Himalayan mountains, a test tube holding the DNA structure, a half gear, abortion of a tree and a water body. NAINITAL BANK LIMITED The Nainital Bank Limited was established in the year 1922 by Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant and few other prominent personalities of Nainital with the objective to cater banking needs of the people of the region. At present Bank of Baroda holds 98.57 percent share holding in Nainital Bank Limited and remaining 1.43 percent shares are held by the public. The bank’s emblem is a stylized representation of the Himalayas, with the snow-capped peaks representing the bank's strength and stability in the background and a sailboat on a Naini lake in the foreground, symbolising the bank's connection to its roots and the region it serves. The reddish brown colour of the emblem represents trust and reliability, while the white colour represents integrity and excellence. SRI DEV SUMAN UTTARAKHAND UNIVERSITY Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (SDSUU)is established as a State University of Uttarakhand vide State Government notification No 270/XXXVI(3)/2012/48(1)/2012 on October 19, 2012 in continuation to amendment of erstwhile Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Uttarakhand Vishwavidhyalaya Act 2011 (Uttarakhand Act No 22 of 2011) as notified by State Government vide No 357/XXXVI(3)/201 1/57(1)/2010 on November 4, 2011. The emblem of the university has the motifs of Himalayas, its valleys and ridges, a flowing river, green plains  and a light yellow coloured forest flower. The mountain peak is crested by laurels supporting an open book. All these are ensconced by a yellow coloured circular border which bears the name of the university in Devanagari and English. UTTARAKHAND SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY Uttarakhand Sanskrit University (USU) is a State university located in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. It was established in 2005 by the Uttarakhand government to promote the study of Sanskrit language and literature. Its emblem has motifs of white mountains, flowing blue rivers and a pine tree ensconced in a circle with yellow border bearing its name in Sanskrit and supported by a book and a traditional lamp on it. At the bottom on a red banner its motto in Sanskrit taken from Sri Bhagya Suktam ‘वयं देवानां सुमतौ सयाम’ meaning ‘Happy in the Deities’ Loving Kindness’ is inscribed. The book denotes knowledge and wisdom; traditional lamp denotes light, path for growth and way forward; rivers of Uttarakhand are symbolised here; tree is symbolising the pine trees of the State and mountains represents the Mountains of Himalayas of the State. The colours used are representative of the State and are widely found in its environment.

MIZORAM RURAL BANK

MIZORAM RURAL BANK Mizoram Rural Bank (MRB) is a Regional Rural Bank in Mizoram sponsored by State Bank of Indiaand owned by the Ministry of Finance , Government of India. It was established on September 27, 1983. The blue colour emblem of MRB has the letter ‘M’ depicted as a mountain and is placed within an oval. Mount Himalayas form the geography of the State and is an appropriate choice for use in the logo. The crisp line work of the emblem is gentle, assertive and stands good for the bank’s brand, by instilling confidence. The colour blue symbolises clarity, freshness, spirituality, serenity, calmness, peace, tranquillity, trust, stability and reliability and it is used to convey a sense of professionalism and dependability.

HINDU MISSION HOSPITAL

HINDU MISSION HOSPITAL At the Hindu Mission Hospital (HMH), dedicated care and therapy meet clinical prowess and technological advancement. For close to four decades, the hospital has worked for the benefit of thousands of patients with single-minded commitment and zeal to provide timely healthcare solutions to the most complex medical problems. The hospital was started by D. K. Srinivasan, a business person and social worker and C. S. Gangadhar Sharma, a leprologist, as an outpatient clinic in a shed on December 5, 1982. The emblem of the HMH is a circular seal in which Lord Hanuman is carrying the Mountain of Himalayas bearing the Sanjeevani medicinal plant. According to the Ramayana, Hanuman was asked to fetch the herb from the Himalayas to save the life of Lakshman, Lord Ram’s brother, after he became unconscious while fighting Meghnath, Ravana’s eldest son.

3 INFANTRY DIVISION

3 INFANTRY DIVISION The 3 Infantry Division of Indian Army was created in October 1962 in Ladakh. It fought in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965. In 1991 it was part of XV Corps. It is headquartered at Karu, 40 km from Leh. During the Kargil War the division consisted of the 3rd Artillery Brigade (the normally assigned divisional artillery), 70th Infantry Brigade, reassigned from Demchok on the Chinese border and 102nd Infantry Brigade, both normally assigned to the division.
