BENGALURU NORTH UNIVERSITY The Government of Karnataka has notified the establishment of Bengaluru North University by trifurcating the erstwhile Bangalore University through its Gazette Notification on August 13, 2015 and was inaugurated on September 21, 2017. This is a State University located in Kolar in Karnataka. The emblem of the university depicts the importance of the jurisdictional area through its geographical features, scientific development and the rhythm of people’s lives. ASSAM DOWN TOWN UNIVERSITY The Assam Down Town University (ADTU) was established, as per the provisions of the Assam Private Universities Act.2007, vide Assam  Gazette No. LGL.9/2010/11 Dated April 29, 2010. It is managed by the Down Town Charity Trust. The yellow and blue circular emblem of the university has a yellow lotus resembling a trident symbolising the land of Assam supported by its year of establishment. These are ensconced by a circular border which bears the name of the university in blue and white. The alphabet ‘a’ is also written as ‘অ’in yellow colour. The motto of the university ‘Encouraging Success’ is written on a blue banner. The lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the trishul denotes strength, power and compassion.

It is the first Indian university to offer only skill-based programmes and it offers training based on the Swiss Dual System using machinery and equipment procured from the best manufacturers all across the globe. The yellow and blue emblem of the university has an open book bearing the images of a person doing some work, three messing gear wheels, a glowing bulb and a person working with tools. CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF FISHERIES EDUCATION The Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE) was established by the Government of India, with the assistance of FAO and UNDP on June 6, 1961. The Deemed University status conferred on it in 1989. The emblem of the university has an open book with blue colour pages on a yellow background, carrying the motifs of a fishing vessel, an aquaculture field, a microscope and a fish in deep waters. The book is crested by the logo of its parent body ICAR and supported by its status and ‘ICAR’. These are ensconced in a yellow circular border, which carries its name in Devanagari and English and its place in Devanagari.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY A college of engineering was started by the name of Civil Engineering College on November 24, 1856, in the premises of the Writers Building, Calcutta. In 2004, B.E. College (Deemed University) was converted into a full fledged university by an act in the West Bengal Assembly and renamed as Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur. The emblem of the university has the motif of its iconic clock tower in blue colour supported by the rays of a yellow rising sun. Its year of establishment is placed at the left and right bottom of the tower in Roman and Bengali respectively. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘उतिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान निबोधत’ meaning ‘Get up, Wake up and Listen to the Boons you have Received’ is written and at the bottom the name of the university is written in English and Devanagari. The sun's rays look like the teeth of the gear wheel representing science and engineering education.

THE CHARUTAR VIDYA MANDAL (CVM) UNIVERSITY

THE CHARUTAR VIDYA MANDAL (CVM) UNIVERSITY On March 3, 1945, an educational township named Vallabh Vidyanagar was proposed as a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The University was established in 1999 by Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), an educational Society. The emblem of the university in tones of blue has a lotus five petals of which two are yellow holds the motifs of a hand holding a pen - the tool for writing, the second one holding a scroll - the certificate for academic achievement, the third one holding an open book - symbol of knowledge and wisdom and the fourth one holding a flask for conducting scientific experiments. The lotus is supported by a banner bearing its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान - विज्ञान - प्रज्ञान’ meaning ‘Knowledge - Science - Wisdom’. Below the acronym of its name is written in two lines with slab serif bold and medium font.
