GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, R.K.NAGAR (GASC RK NAGAR) The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, R.K.Nagar, Chennai (GASC RK Nagar) features an abstract motif of a human forming the trunk of a tree with leaves and fruits supported by an open book and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and motto of the college ‘Deeper Stronger Higher’. The tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the human refers to the stakeholders and beneficiaries of the college; and the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom.
