On a banner placed on the seal at the bottom the motto of the college ‘கனவு மெய்ப்பட வேண்டும்’ (Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi) meaning ‘The Dream Must Come True’. The shore temple refers to the heritage and history of the place of the college; the human refers to the students and teachers aspiring to reach the star of knowledge and achievement; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
