MADRAS SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK (MSSW) The blue circular seal of Madras School of Social Work (MSSW) features fountain with water forming the letter ‘M’ supported by the motto of the School ‘ Catalyst for Social Change ’ and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and year of establishment of the School. The border is decorated with leaf shaped elements on the circumference. The fountain symbolises life, purity, renewal, and abundance, representing a source of nourishment, healing, and spiritual fulfillment, often linked to paradise or divine blessings; and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
