NESAMONY MEMORIAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE (NMCC) The emblem of Nesamony Memorial Christian College (NMCC) features a shield housing the motifs of a cross, a church, a palm tree, an open book and a lotus and crested by a five-pointed star. Below the shield, on a banner, the motto of the college ‘Faith Endeavour Power’ is inscribed. The shield denotes ; the Cross and the church identify the college as a Christian institution and signify sacrifice, love and holiness; the palm tree refers to the region where the college is located; the star represents perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lotus - the national flower denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
