LOYOLA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (LIBA) The oval-shaped emblem of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) features the seal of Loyola College, Chennai supported by its acronym ‘LIBA’ and an abstract pictorial of eight humans led by another human. These are ensconced by an oval border inscribed with the motto of the college ‘In Pursuit of Excellence with Ethics’. The seal of Loyola college features a shield divided into quarters by a cross with blue and gold as primary colours representing the Jesuit traditions. The motifs of a pair of torches with flames and a pair of open books are placed on the shield. The shield is surmounted by a knight’s helmet crested by a dollar sign and supported by a banner which is inscribed with its motto in Latin ‘Luceat Lux Vestra’ meaning ‘Let Your Light Shine’.
