The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Kangeyam (GASCKGM) features a shield ensconcing the image of Sivanmalai Murugan Temple, famous kangayam bull, a coconut tree and a coconut, and a factory. The name of the college is written on a green banner which is placed above the shield. The shield is crested by a traditional lamp and supported by a red banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘அறிவு ஆக்கம் ஆய்வு’ meaning ‘Knowledge Creation Research’. The factory refers to industry and production; the other motifs represent Kangeyam and its well-known identities and heritage; the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
