THIAGARAJAR SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT (TSM) The circular seal of Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) features a multipointed star housing a red shield inscribed with the motifs of an open book, a temple with gopuram, a veena and a traditional lamp’ The motto of the college in Tamil ‘’ is inscribed above the shield and its year of establishment is inscribed below. The shield is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The star symbolises divine guidance, cosmic order, balance, and spiritual journeys; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the gopuram or temple tower symbolises significant cultural and religious landmark in the region and divine guidance and blessings; the veena symbolises culture, tradition, learning and heritage; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
