GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, MUDUKULATHUR (GASCM) The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Mudukulathur (GASCM) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of an open book, the gopuram of Sri Mangalaleswari Udanurai Mangalanatha Swamy Temple; a computer supported by a scenery of the locale with palm trees. The name of the college and its place is written above the motifs. On a banner placed below the shield, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘நுண்பொருள் காண்பது அறிவு’ (424, Thirukkural, Thiruvalluvar) meaning ‘To Examine the Subtle Meaning (of What One Asks Others,) is Knowledge.’ is inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gopuram refers to the history and heritage of the locale and divine blessings and guidance; the computer refers to science and technology; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, MODAKKURUCHI (GASCM) The emblem of Government Arts And Science College, Modakkuruchi (GASCM) features a circle housing an image of a scenery with mountains and trees, a stack of books, a traditional lamp and a plant of turmeric or curcuma longa ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college in Tamil and placed on an octagon. Below the seal, on a green banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘வையத் தலைமை கொள்’ meaning ‘Assume World Leadership’ supported by a pair of ears of corn. The scenery refers to geography of the locale; the books refer to learning, education, learning and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the turmeric and corns refer to the local produce; the octagon  symbolises  transition, rebirth, and cosmic balance.

The name of the college is written at the bottom on a blue banner. The motto of the college in Tamil ‘அறிவே வெல்லும்’ meaning ‘Knowledge Will Prevail’ surmounts the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the trophy symbolises hardwork, practice and success; the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the torch with flame symbolises lame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
