DR. M.G.R. GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, VILLUPURAM (GACWVPM) The emblem of Dr. M.G.R. Government Arts and Science College for Women, Villupuram (GACWVPM) features a pennant scroll inscribed with the name of the college in Tamil and the motifs of a lotus, peacock, a traditional lamp, a veena and an open book. A brown decorative banner placed below the pennant is inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘உள்ளுவதெல்லாம் உயர்வுள்ளல்’ (596, Thirukkural, Thiruvalluvar) meaning ‘All One thinks About Should be About High Things’.
