The emblem of Government Medical College and Hospital, Krishnagiri (GMC Krishnagiri) features the Staff of Hermes or Staff of Caduceus with a pair of wings and entwined by a pair of serpents supported by a pair of laurels on sides and circumscribed by the name of the college and its year of establishment. These motifs are ensconced by a circular floral outline. Below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Faith Foresee Fulfill’ is written. The staff with snakes has long been a symbol of medicine and the medical profession; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
