ST. JOSEPH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (SJCE) The emblem of St. Joseph College of Education (SJCE) features an open book supporting three abstract human figures - one in grey; other two in orange and green with mortarboard hats denoting the teacher and students supported by the college’s year of inception. These elements are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto ‘Discipline Endeavour Success’. The book refers to knowledge, learning, education and wisdom; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.
