The emblem of Nutan Maharashtra Vidya Prasarak Mandal's Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering &Technology (NMIET) features a shield housing the motifs of a computer, a truck, a set of gear wheels, a transmission tower, and a satellite dish antenna. The shield is surmounted by the name and place of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a banner placed below the seal. All these elements are ensconced by a blue circle. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. 14 CORPS The 14 Corps of the Indian Army is a part of the Army’s Udhampur-based Northern Command. It was raised after the Kargil War in 1999, to control troops in Ladakh. It currently consists of 3rd Infantry Division. The division was created in October 1962 in Ladakh. It fought in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. Until 1990, it was headquartered at Kohima under III Corps. It is headquartered at Kumbathang, near Kargil. The sleeve patch of this Corps is red horizontal striped patch intersected with a white stripe in the background with two crossed torches (Vajra) with trident at their ends and wand in the foreground.

This university is also known as Bolpur University or Biswa Bangla University.
