ARIGNAR ANNA GOVERNMENT ARTS COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, WALAJAPET (AAGACW) The emblem of Arignar Anna Government Arts College For Women, Walajapet (AAGACW) features a lighthouse on shore, a lotus on water and a pigeon placed in a circle and circumscribed by the motto of the college in Tamil ‘அமைதியும் அறிவுமே அழகாகும்’ meaning ‘Peace and Knowledge are True Beauty’ and ‘Peace Purity and Knowledge’. This assemblage is ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college.
