AIPH UNIVERSITY The Asian Institute of Public Health (AIPH) came into being in 2008 in the country. AIPH started a flagship programme, Master of Public Health (MPH) under an Indo-US partnership in 2010, which became self sufficient in 2015. These exceptional educational and outstanding research programmes resulted in getting AIPH a university status through state legislature in 2018. Its circular emblem in yellow and brown colours has a tree supported by a pair of hands. The tree is made up of motifs of an animal’s paw, DNA structure, a flying bird and humans. All these are ensconced in brown and black circular outlines. Around this on a yellow border, its name is written on top and the bottom its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ meaning ‘Be Immortal Through Knowledge’.
