KRANTIGURU SHYAMJI KRISHNA VERMA KACHCHH UNIVERSITY The emblem of Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University (KSKVKU) symbolises the biodiversity of the region in which it is located. It includes desert, the sea, the hills and the flamingos which are migratory birds. The blue sky suggests infiniteness and eternity. The hills stand for strength and determination. The desert symbolises the tough conditions and the challenge to life, consequently the resilience of the people of Kachchh. The sky, the earth and the sea, the three principal elements of nature in the logo, suggest knowledge. The ship symbolises the significance of trade and its contribution to the past as well as the present prosperity of the region. The sailship with its sails, the ancient fort on the Bhujiya Hill, the modern industries, the sea, the sky, the sun, the desert, the migratory birds sum up Kachchh. KARNATAKA GRAMIN BANK Karnataka Gramin Bank with its head office at Ballari under the sponsorship of Canara Bank came to existence on April 1, 2019 as per the gazette Notification of Government of India No.852 dated February 22, 2019 with amalgamation of two RRBs namely Pragathi Krishna Gramin Bank (Sponsored by Canara Bank with Head Office at Ballari) and Kaveri Grameena Bank (Sponsored by State Bank of India with Head Office at Mysuru). The logo of this bank is in the form of a circle and its components - Leaves represent agriculture and signifies prosperity; Diverging leaves signify our expanding base and growing support to agriculture and clean environment; The circle formed signifies the wholeness and inclusive growth; Blue colour represents trust, loyalty, integrity and responsibility and Yellow colour represents optimism, success, confidence, youthfulness and fresh energy”. Its motto is ‘Vishwasada Pratheeka, meaning ‘Symbol for the Faith/Trust’.

GEETHAM VEG Belonging to a family from Udupi, which has a vast experience in food retail and hospitality industry, the founder of Geetham, Murali N. Bhat, has also had a natural inclination to serve people from his childhood. The influence of his family meant community service was deeply rooted in his lifestyle. The generosity he was exposed to as a child developed into his prime philosophy and dictated his choices in his adult life. INDIAN AIR FORCE The Indian Air Force  (IAF) was officially established on October 8, 1932. Its first flight came into being on April 1, 1933.  It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers). In January 1950, India became a Republic within the British Commonwealth and the Indian Air Force dropped its ‘Royal’ prefix. At this time, it possessed six fighter squadrons of Spitfires, Vampires and Tempests, operating from Kanpur, Poona, Ambala and Palam, one B-24 bomber squadron, one C-47 Dakota transport squadron, one AOP flight, a communications squadron at Palam and a growing training organisation. The Motto of Indian Air Force has been taken from eleventh chapter of the Gita, the discourse given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna  on the battlefield of Kurukshetra during the Great War of Mahabharata . MADHAVA TILAK

MADHAVA TILAK The Madhavas are Vaishnavas. They are known as Brahma Sampradayins. whose founder was Madhavacharya. He was born in 1200 AD. He was a great opponent of Sankaracharya‘s Advaita system of philosophy. He erected and consecrated the image of Lord Krishna at Udipi. Madhavas bear the impress of the symbols of Vishnu upon their breasts and shoulders which are stamped with a hot iron. Their marks on the foreheads consist of two perpendicular lines made with Gopichandana and joined at the root of the nose. They make a straight black line (using charcoal from incense offered to Krishna), which terminates in a round mark made with turmeric. The Madhavas are divided into two classes called the Vyasakutas and the Dasakutas.  Truthfulness, study of scriptures, generosity, kindness, faith and freedom from envy form the moral code of Madhavas. They virtue in thought, word and deed.
