G.D. GOENKA UNIVERSITY The emblem of G.D. Goenka University (GDGU) created with different shades of blue has a bird in flight with its wings spread, aptly represents its motto ‘From Foundation to Flight’, has its name written below. The bird also symbolises the freedom and enlightenment it has obtained from learning, knowledge and vision obtained through education in the university. The tones of blue denote serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

RAINMATTER FOUNDATION

RAINMATTER FOUNDATION Rainmatter Foundation is an unlisted private company incorporated on May 24, 2016. It is classified as a not for profit company and is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is an initiative by the people behind Zerodha. It funds fellowships and organisations working to restore the environment through direct action, research, climate advocacy and policy. Its logo has a pair of hexagons in olive green and sepia colours placed eccentrically each touching the other in a corner. This symbol represents the optimisation of efforts taken to address the issues of climate change. The smaller hexagon is duly protected by the bigger one, meaning this foundation protects and nurtures endeavours of individuals and organisations.

KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION

KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION  Kalakshetra  literally means a holy place of arts (Kala: Arts, Kshetra: Field or Holy place). Deriving inspiration from this noble ideal, Kalakshetra Foundation was established, in the words of Rukmini Devi, "with the sole purpose of resuscitating in modern India recognition of the priceless artistic traditions of our country and of imparting to the young the true spirit of Art, devoid of vulgarity and commercialism." The training of young and talented people by masters of art, with the background of a religious spirit, has been its main aim. Kalakshetra today is a is a vital centre for the study and performance of fine arts. Kalakshetra Foundation as it is known today was recognised by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 1993 and is now an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Its logotype in gold colour ‘kalakshetra’ is written in calligraphic style

RAJA RAMMOHAN ROY LIBRARY FOUNDATION The year 1972 is a significant year in the history of library movement in India.  The country was celebrating silver jubilee of independence.  It was the bicentenary year of the birth of Raja Rammohun Roy, a pioneer social reformer who had stressed the need for modern education for the progress of the nation.  The year was also being celebrated as an International Book Year with the slogan ‘Books for All’.  It was in this auspicious year that Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation (RRRLF) was established in May, 1972 by the Department of Culture, Government of India to spread library services all over the country in cooperation with State Governments, Union Territory Administrations and other organisations working in the field. Since 2005-06 the Foundation has also taken up the initiative to develop the District Youth Resource Centre (DYRC) in collaboration with Nehru Yuvak Kendra Sangathana, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Sports &am

NATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR  CORPORATE GOVERNANCE With the goal of promoting better corporate governance practices in India, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, on October 1, 2003 set up National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry, Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In the year 2010, stakeholders in NFCG has been expanded with the inclusion of ICWAI and the National Stock Exchange.
