The trademark has a circle with thick cyan outline referring to a secure and pleasant transactional experience, housing a tricolour band of Indian National Tricolours - orange, white and green referring to the pan Indian domain for its service. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AMRITSAR Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar) is the fifteenth IIM set up by the Ministry of Education with the support of the Government of Punjab. After the registration of IIM Amritsar Society on July 27, 2015, the first batch for the class of 2015-17 was enrolled in August 2015. The IIM Amritsar organised a logo with moto design competition, online through the ‘MyGov’ portal in January 2018, A total of 850 entries were received for logo with moto design from different parts of the country. The expert committee shortlisted five entries for the selection of final selection. The winning logo was designed by Prashant Anant Patil. The logo is inspired by the ‘Flower of Life’ tile design located in Golden temple, Amritsar. This has been modified to pentagonal geometry representing Punjab.
