KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES The insignia of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam in the with a backdrop of the map of the State of Telangana. In front of the arch a staff of Caduceus or the Staff of Hermes entwined by a pair of serpentes and a pair of wings supported by an open book is placed. The name and place of the university is written above the motifs. The Kakatiya Thoranam is featured in the official emblem of the State of Telangana. All these motifs are ensconced by a blue circular border which carries the name and place of the university. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels and below the seal, on a banner the motto of the university is inscribed in Telugu ‘సర్వే జనాః సుఖినో భవంతు’ meaning ‘May Everyone be Free from Diseases’.
