KRANTIGURU SHYAMJI KRISHNA VERMA KACHCHH UNIVERSITY The emblem of Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University (KSKVKU) symbolises the biodiversity of the region in which it is located. It includes desert, the sea, the hills and the flamingos which are migratory birds. The blue sky suggests infiniteness and eternity. The hills stand for strength and determination. MODY UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The insignia of Mody University of Science and Technology (MUST) has a gear wheel houses a circular border which is inscribed with its name and place. Inside the border on the circle there are motifs of a swan and a veena supported by an open book. Below the gear wheel, on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु’ (Dialogue between Nachiketa and Yamacharya, 19, Canto 3, Part 3, Katha Upanishad, Krishna Yajur Veda) meaning ‘May our Study be Vigorous and Effective’. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the veena and swan are associated with Goddess Saraswati, the God of Learning and the open book symbolises learning, knowledge, education and wisdom.

GOVIND GURU TRIBAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU) has a circular border on which the name of the university is inscribed in Devanagari and two swastikas supporting a ‘havan kund’ or sacred fire pit. This border is housing the motifs of a lighthouse on sea supported by a bow and arrow, its year of establishment and an open book. BHUPENDRA NARAYAN MANDAL UNIVERSITY Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU) also called B. N. Mandal University was established on January 10, 1992 and is named after Bhupendra Narayan Mandal, who was a freedom fighter. The red circular emblem of the university has a circle housing the motifs of a banyan tree, an open book, a wheat plant with heads and a pair of swans in its four quadrants. These are ensconced in a border with red outlines. The border is inscribed with its motto in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, Viṣṇu Purāṇa ) meaning ‘Knowledge is One that Liberates’ and its name in Devanagari. The banyan tree symbolises strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything; the open book symbolises knowledge, wisdom and education; the wheat plant denotes fertility, abundance, growth, renewal and resurrection and a pair of swans denote good omen of a long-lasting and happy relationship.

BHUPAL NOBLES’ UNIVERSITY The Bhupal Nobles' University has been constituted through the approval of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly under the University Act No. 23 of 2015. This university is sponsored by Vidya Pracharini Sabha which was established in 1923 and is one of the oldest educational societies in the country. The emblem of the university is a spread out lotus with eighteen petals in golden housing the motifs of rising sun and flowing waters and its motto in Sanskrit ‘तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु’ (Dialogue between Nachiketa and Yamacharya, 19, Canto 3, Part 3, Katha Upanishad, Krishna Yajur Veda) meaning ‘May Our Study be Vigorous and Effective’ on a blue circle. AWADHESH PRATAP SINGH UNIVERSITY Awadhesh Pratap Singh University (APSU) was established on July 20, 1968 as a State university of Madhya Pradesh. The university has been named after the freedom fighter Capt. Awadhesh Pratap Singh, the first Prime Minister of Vindhya Pradesh. It was recognized by the UGC in February 1972. The emblem of the university has a traditional lamp with a halo and with rays glowing  supported by an open book placed on a small table bearing its Sanskrit motto ‘तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु’ (Ved Vyasa, Kata Upanishad) meaning ‘May the Study of Both of us be Brilliant’. These are ensconced by a yellow border which has the name and place of the university inscribed in Devanagari. The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the open book symbolises education, knowledge and wisdom.
