POLICE PUBLIC SCHOOL, BANGALORE The circular emblem of the Police Public School (PPS), Bangalore has an open book supporting a glowing flame and the state emblem of the State of Karnataka on a background of open sky with clouds. These motifs are ensconced by a red circular border, on which the name of the school and the motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्याधनं सर्वधन प्रधानम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Wealth’ are written. The open book symbolises learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the open sky represents innocence, hope, peace, tranquillity, hope and optimism and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

F.S. UNIVERSITY The emblem of F.S. University (FSU) has a pictorial and a wordmark on its right. The pictorial has a brown shield bearing its name in yellow ochre, a nib, an open book and a banner on it in the middle inscribed with its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्याधनं सर्वधनं प्रधानम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Wealth’. Below the shield a pair of laurels are placed. The name of the university is written in brown, white and black. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the nib of a pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the open book symbolises education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the laurels mean ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the colour brown denotes and white denotes purity, innocence, perfection, peace, new beginnings, loyalty and joy.

GOPAL NARAYAN SINGH UNIVERSITY Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU) at Jamuhar, Rohtas was established in 2018 as a private university. The emblem of the university has a torch with flame and its bottom ends as a pen. These are surrounded by an orange circular table with eleven persons seated around it. The torch is supported by an open book, which transforms into a pair of wings. The emblem is surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या धनं सर्वधन प्रधानम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Wealth’. At the bottom of the emblem its acronym is written in orange sans serif font. The torch is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the pen denotes freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the open book denotes knowledge, education and wisdom; the wings evolving from book denote the outcome of education as it gives wings to the aspirations of the learners in discovering the unknown and the circular table also
