NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE OF INDIA National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) is the leading stock exchange under the ownership of various groups of domestic and global financial institutions, public and privately owned entities and individuals. It is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is the world’s largest derivatives exchange in 2021 by number of contracts traded based on the statistics maintained by Futures Industry Association (FIA), a derivatives trade body. NSE is ranked fourth in the world in cash equities by number of trades as per the statistics maintained by the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) for the calendar year 2021. It is under the ownership of some leading financial institutions, banks, and insurance companies. NSE was established in 1992 as the first dematerialized electronic exchange in the country. CENTRE FOR JOINT WARFARE STUDIES The Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS) was raised at the initiative of the Ministry of Defence on 24 Aug 2007 and is registered under ‘The Societies Registration Act 1860’. The Centre has been set up to rise above sectoral and departmental legacies and examine joint warfare and synergy issues in their entirety; provide the much needed interface between various stakeholders, viz the government, public and private sector, academia, NGOs and civil society and initiate debates and discussions in an independent and unbiased milieu for emergence of best possible alternative. Its emblem in brown and gold in oval shape has the motifs of all the three armed forces supported by a book and crested by the National Emblem. This is ensconced by a brown oval border in which ‘Aligned with the Future’ and ‘Victory Through Jointness’ is written. At the button its acronym ‘CENJOWS’ is placed.

INDIA’S G20 PRESIDENCY The logo of India’s assumption of G20 Presidency was unveiled on November 8, 2022. The G20 logo draws inspiration from the vibrant colours of India’s national flag - saffron, white and green and blue. It juxtaposes planet earth with the lotus, India’s national flower that reflects growth amid challenges. The earth reflects India’s pro-planet approach to life, one in perfect harmony with nature. Below the G20 logo is ‘Bharat’, written in the Devanagari. The theme of India’s G20 Presidency – ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ or ‘One Earth One Family One Future’ - is drawn from the ancient Sanskrit text of the Maha Upanishad. The theme also spotlights LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), with its associated, environmentally sustainable and responsible choices, both at the level of individual lifestyles as well as national development, leading to globally transformative actions resulting in a cleaner, greener and bluer future.
