BSE

BSE Established in 1875, BSE (formerly known as Bombay Stock Exchange), is Asia's first and the fastest stock exchange in the world with the speed of six microseconds and one of India's leading exchange groups. Over the past 143 years, BSE has facilitated the growth of the Indian corporate sector by providing it an efficient capital-raising platform. Popularly known as BSE, the bourse was established as ‘The Native Share & Stockbrokers' Association’ in 1875. In 2017 BSE became the 1st listed stock exchange of India. Indian Clearing Corporation Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE, acts as the central counterparty to all trades executed on the BSE trading platform and provides full novation, guaranteeing the settlement of all bonafide trades executed. Its emblem in cyan colour is a monogram of the name, BSE’ written in a ‘B’ and ‘E’ laterally reversing each other supporting ‘S’ in the middle using lines of the same thickness with rounded ends.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY BOMBAY

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY BOMBAY Established in 1958, the second of its kind, IIT Bombay was the first to be set up with foreign assistance. The funds from UNESCO came as Roubles from the then Soviet Union. In 1961 Parliament decreed the IITs as 'Institutes of National Importance'. Located in Powai, one of the northern suburbs of Mumbai, the residents of the institute reap the advantage of being in the busy financial capital of India, while at the same time enjoying the serenity of a campus known for its natural beauty. Its blue colour emblem has a lotus supported by a book and ensconced by a partial gear, which bears its name in Devanagari and English. These are supported by a banner bearing its tagline ‘ज्ञानम् परमम् ध्येयम्’ in Sanskrit meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Goal

THE BOMBAY DYEING AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY LIMITED Bombay Dyeing was established by Nowrosjee Wadia in 1879 as a small operation of Indian spun cotton yarn dip dyed by hand, Bombay Dyeing has now grown to be one of the most respected and trusted brands in the country. Its first store was started in 1879 with only the store manager. Stylish linens, towels, home furnishings, leisure clothing, kids wear and a whole blissful range of other products are now available across 350 plus exclusive Bombay Dyeing Retail or 2000 plus multi-brand stores. It has a khaki and white monogram with ‘b’ and ‘d’ and a wordmark of its name placed in a blue colour parallelogram. The font used is a sans serif with varying stroke thickness.

THE WADIA GROUP The Wadia Group is an Indian investment company headquartered in Mumbai, India began its journey in 1736. THE GRENADIERS REGIMENT

THE GRENADIERS REGIMENT The oldest Grenadier Regiment of the armies in the Commonwealth belongs to the Indian Army. A composite battalion comprising Grenadier companies of Bombay Sepoys won the famous battle of Talegaon in 1778. By 1784, the group of Grenadier companies had been given the title of Bombay Grenadiers. The concept of 'Grenadiers' evolved from the practice of selecting the bravest and strongest men for the most dangerous tasks in combat. The Grenadiers have one of the longest unbroken record of existence in the Indian Army. The Grenadiers have the unique and distinct honour of having the most number of Param Vir Chakras, India's highest medal for gallantry, among all the Indian Army's Infantry Regiments.
