GANDHI GRAM INSTITUTE OF RURAL HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE TRUST The orange and brown insignia of Gandhi Gram Institute of Rural Health and Family Welfare Trust (GIRHFWT) has a traditional hut housing a traditional lamp supported by the Staff of Caduceus. The orange seal has a brown outline. The hut refers to the rural beneficiaries ; the lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND PANCHAYATI RAJ The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), an autonomous organisation under the Union Ministry of Rural Development, is a premier national centre of excellence in rural development and Panchayati Raj. Recognized internationally as one of the UN-ESCAP Centres of Excellence, it builds capacities of rural development functionaries, elected representatives of PRIs, bankers, NGOs and other stakeholders through interrelated activities of training, research and consultancy. Its emblem is a monogram of its acronym in Hindi and English placed inside a hut-like outline.
