HIMALAYIYA UNIVERSITY The circular emblem in burgundy and blue of Himalayiya University (HU) has a motif of Mount Himalayas in  a cyan background with the national emblem of Ashoka Chakra placed behind its peak supported by an open book holding a traditional lamp. These are ensconced in a blue and burgundy circular border, on which its name and motto are inscribed separated by a pair of stars. The motto in Sanskrit ‘उतिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत’ (Mantra 14, Valli 3, Chapter 1, Kathopanishad - part of the dialogue between Yama and Nachiketa)  meaning ‘Get up, Wake up and Listen to the Boons you have Received’. The Mount Himalayas represent the geography of the university; the Ashoka Chakra represents the nation; the open book denotes education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freed

HINDI UNIVERSITY The blue colour circular emblem of the Hindi University (HU), Howrah has a blue circle which holds the acronyms of the university in Devanagari and English. The seal is very simple, easy to understand and direct. This gives the seal its elegance and effortless communicability.

HIMALAYAN UNIVERSITY

HIMALAYAN UNIVERSITY Himalayan University (HU) has been established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as per Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The emblem of the university has a blue and white mountain with the yellow rays of a rising sun in the background. This is placed in a circle with orange borderlines. These are ensconced by a black circular borderline, in which its name is written. The bottom half of the border has an orange banner on which ‘University’ is written with stars supporting at each end. Below these, its motto ‘Where Your Future Comes First’ is written. The motifs of mountains and sun rays depict the geography of the land and the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
