BHARAT PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED Bharat Petroleum is India’s ‘best performing’ Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and is an oil refining, exploration and marketing conglomerate. In 1928, Asiatic Petroleum (India) joined hands with the Burmah Oil Company, an active producer, refiner and distributor of petroleum products, particularly in Indian and Burmese markets to form the Burmah-Shell Oil Storage and Distributing Company of India Limited. On January 24,1976, as a 100% public sector enterprise, Bharat Refineries Limited, acquired complete ownership of Burmah Shell’s interests in India, including the largest refinery and a nationwide marketing organisation. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOG  AGARTALA The Tripura Engineering College was converted to National Institute of Technology Agartala on April 1, 2006 vide notification No. F. 20-20/2004/TS III/ dated 10.03.2006 of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. Its emblem is a gear wheel in which, on a border its name in Hindi and English are placed. Within this circle an opened notebook with a pen is placed, from which a glowing sun of knowledge rises. This is supported on both sides by leafy laurels. Its motto ‘ज्ञानं परमं बलम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Ultimate Strength’ is written on a banner at the bottom.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MIZORAM

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MIZORAM The Ministry of Education, GOvernment of India vide its Order No. F. 23-13-2009-TS-III Dated October 30, 2009 and March 3, 2010, had decided to set up ten new NITs. NIT Mizoram was started in the year 2010. The circular emblem in the form of green to yellow tones of this institute has a book form in which glowing light emanates, throwing up a host of scientific and mathematical symbols. An illustration of atomic structure is placed on this. This is supported on both sides by a pair of bamboo plants. At the bottom of these its tagline ‘Knowledge is the Ultimate Goal’ and ‘NIT Mizoram’ are written. The circular white border bears the name of the institute in Hindi and English.
