J.K. LAKSHMIPAT UNIVERSITY The emblem of J.K. Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has a pictorial made depicting the letters ‘JK’ as a n orange lotus with blue leaves, which is surmounted by its name written in capitals forming a semicircle and supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् अमृतम्' meaning ‘Knowledge is Nectar’. The lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
