The person with wings refers to the state of feeling and liberation one achieves through the practice of yoga and the colour pink denotes love, nurture and compassion and the colour green denotes nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige and wealth.

SILVER OAK UNIVERSITY The Silver Oak University (SOU) was established in 2009 by the Silver Oak Group of Institutes. It has been accorded the status of Private University under Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. RAJA SHANKAR SHAH UNIVERSITY, CHHINDWARA Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara University (RSUC) has been established by the GOvernment of Madhya Pradesh dated June 17, 2019. The green colour octagonal emblem of the university is a pictorial of a flower created using the motifs of three open books, seven humans and reading of books standing on a pedestal. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written.
