DR BABU JAGJIVAN RAM LEATHER INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD. The emblem of Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram Leather Industries Development Corporation Ltd. (BJRLIDC) is a hide which houses a motif artisan or cobbler working and its brand name Lidkar and supported by a gear wheel. The hide  and the artisan represent the leather industry; the gear wheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure and the colour brown symbolises earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition. The logo is interesting and representative.

WOOL RESEARCH ASSOCIATION The red circular emblem of Wool Research Association (WRA) has the motif of a ram built around ‘W’ surmounted by its acronym and is placed within a circle. The circle is supporting a gear wheel which represents industry, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure. These are ensconced by a white border with red outline which bears the name and place of the Association.

RAM MANOHAR LOHIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES The emblem of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (DRMLIMS) has a the Satff of Caduceus or the Staff of Hermes with a pair of wings and entwined by serpents, supported by an open book placed on a depiction of one of the university’s buildings in a circle. This circle is ensconced by a blue circular border, which carries its name in Devanagari. At the bottom, on the circular seal on a blue banner, its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे संतु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Inspired from Brihandaranyaka Upanishad, Shukla Yajurved) meaning ‘May Everyone be Healthy’ is inscribed. The Staff represents medicine and the medical profession and the open book denotes education, knowledge, learning and wisdom. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

DR RAM MANOHAR LOHIA AWADH UNIVERSITY The emblem of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University (RMLAU) holds the motifs of a rising sun glowing above a flowing body of water circumscribed by its name in Devanagari and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्योतिषां ज्योतिरेकम्’ (34/1, Yajurved) meaning ‘The Mind is the Only Light of the Senses’. All these are ensconced by a blue circle. The flowing water denotes life, purification, transformation, change and renewal and the rising sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity. 

RAJPUTANA RIFLES

RAJPUTANA RIFLES The Rajputana Rifles is the senior most rifle regiment of the Indian Army. It was originally raised in 1921 as part of the British Indian Army, when six previously existing regiments were amalgamated together to form six battalions of the 6th Rajputana Rifles. In 1945 the numeral designation was dropped from the title and in 1947 the regiment was transferred to the newly independent Indian Army. Since independence, the regiment has been involved in a number of conflicts against Pakistan, as well as contributing to the Custodian Force (India) in Korea under the aegis of the United Nations in 1953-54 and to the UN Mission to the Congo in 1962. Its Regimental Centre is Delhi Cantonment and its regimental insignia is bugle and cords, all below a pair of crossed katars (Rajput daggers). Its Regimental motto is ‘Veer Bhogya Vasundhara’ (The Brave shall Inherit the Earth) and its war cry is ‘Raja Ram Chandra Ki Jai’ (Victory to Raja Ram Chandra) and Bol
