GO AIRLINES (INDIA) LIMITED Go First, founded as GoAir, is an Indian ultra-low-cost airline based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is India’s ultra-low-cost airline that is promoted by India’s Wadia Group, which is a part of one of the oldest conglomerates in India with presence in diversified industries. It was incorporated on April 29, 2004, and commenced flight operations in November 2005 with its inaugural flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. GoAir, has rebranded itself as Go First in the run-up to its planned IPO and shifting business model towards Ultra-low-cost carrier. GoAir has laid down few changes in its business model and operations: low cost to ultra-low-cost model; all neo new fleet and point-to-point network. The background of its logo is like the tail of an aircraft and it is monocolour in blue. While ‘G’ and ‘FIRST’ are written over a blue background in white, ‘O’ is created by using a portion of it like the sun with rays.
