ST. XAVIER'S UNIVERSITY, KOLKATA St. Xavier's University, Kolkata is a Jesuit university located in New Town, Kolkata, India. It was established on February 8, 2017 as per the notification of the Government of West Bengal, and inaugurated on July 7, 2017. The Crest of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, is modelled on Jassu Crest of the University Patron, Saint Francis Xavier's family. It has been adapted to local surroundings, suggestive of a native flavour of a University in India. The escutcheon in white and blue contains a tiger and a palm tree, overlooked by a silver crescent moon, which symbolises the palacio of Xavier. The charge on the Dexter, IHS, bespeaks a University of the Society of Jesus (Iesus Hominum Salvator - Jesus, Savior of Human Family). The checky argent and sable in the base recall the spirit of the Xaverian family. A garter bearing the words ‘St. Xavier's University, Kolkata’, encircles the escutcheon and it is surmounted

XAVIER INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SERVICE Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) is a Jesuit-run business school in Ranchi, India. It was established as an extension department of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, in 1955 by Michael A. Windey with the objective of training young men and women in rural development, personnel management and industrial relations. In 1973 the institute was registered as a separate educational society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Its logo has an emblem and a wordmark, which was added in the later years. The circular emblem has a shield in the middle with four parts namely a crop with cereal, mark of the jesuit with cross, a traditional lamp and pair of gear wheels. It is circumscribed by a circular border which has its name and motto ‘leaven in the dough’. The wordmark in blue colour is trendy and extra bold sans serif lowercase letters joined at their base with a uniquely curving stroke of ‘x’. It has the name of the institu

XLRI SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT XLRI, the oldest B-school in India, was founded in 1949 by a few visionary Jesuit Fathers to bring a change in the economy and society at large. The original logo of XLRI was developed in the early 1950s by the founding Fathers. In 2004 slight modifications were made on the logo to include the year of founding - 1949 and also the guiding motto of XLRI-Excellence Integrity. The new brand identity developed in 2012 is a modern and stylized representation of the traditional XLRI logo. The updated brand Identity of XLRI consists of two primary logos and a tagline. The horizontal name logo: The refined name logo has a forward looking naming architecture. XLRI is written in a bold and stylized font with a green pointer on the alphabet ‘I’ to connote clear focus and direction. ‘Jamshedpur’ has been omitted from the new naming architecture with a view to allow greater freedom for the brand to grow nationally and globally. XIM UNIVERSITY

XIM UNIVERSITY In October 1987 Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) was established. It grew into an university and Xavier University was established on July 6, 2013 as per the provisions of the Xavier University, Odisha Act, 2013. On May 11, 2021, the Xavier University, Odisha (Amendment) Act 2021 was passed in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, renaming Xavier University as XIM University. Its emblem is a four pointed white cross (adopted from San Damiano Cross) in light blue background with its four counters hosting an open book, globe held by a hand, burning lamp and group of students linked by a circle. In the centre of this assemblage is another cross. This is ensconced by a circle with pointers on eight sides. A white border with black outline has ‘XIM UNIVERSITY’ and ‘Semper Excelsius’ written on top and bottom and supported on either side by a light blue coloured laurel.
