HIRANYAGARBH YOGSHALA The emblem of Hiranyagarbh Yogshala in violet colour has a lotus supporting the motifs of humans in yoga posture. Its name is written below the motifs and its tagline ‘Body to Soul’ is written in reverse on a violet banner. The lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty and the colour violet symbolises creativity, wisdom, sensitivity, spirituality, nobility, ceremony, mystery, enlightenment, future, imagination, dreams and wealth.

DR. A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY The circular seal of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in the form of a brown gear wheel houses the motifs of glowing flame of a traditional lamp supported on side by a pair of fish and surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ on a blue circle. This is circumscribed by a green border which carries the name of the university. The wheel of gear denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the pair of fish denoting the State of Uttar Pradesh.

INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF INDIA (REGD.) The Insurance Institute of India (Regd.) (III) formerly known as Federation of Insurance Institutes (J.C. Setalvad Memorial) (Regd.) was established in the year 1955, for the purpose of promoting insurance education and training in the country. The Institute is a professional body serving the cause of the insurance industry. The Institute conducts examinations at three levels: Licentiate, Associateship and Fellowship as also examinations - Certificate in Foundations of Casualty Actuarial Science (General Insurance) and Certificate in Insurance Salesmanship. III is the only professional insurance institute in India and is a chartered member in the Institute of Global Insurance Education (IGIE). III’s emblem is in the shape of a round bottomed shield, which appeared in Iberian peninsula in the twelfth century. MALAVIYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAIPUR The Institute was jointly established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College Jaipur by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. Subsequently, on June 26, 2002, the college was given the status of National Institute of Technology. On August 15, 2007. The emblem of MNIT has a lamp with four burning wicks placed over a grid is supported by its tagline ‘योगः कर्मसु कौसलम्’ in Sanskrit meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Actions’. These are ensconced by a gear wheel. This is surrounded by a yellow border on which the name is written in Hindi and English.

VISVESVARAYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, NAGPUR

VISVESVARAYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,  NAGPUR Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology in the country. The Government of India conferred on the Institute, the Deemed to be University status (under University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956)) from June 26, 2002. Earlier, the Institute was known as Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering (VRCE) which was established in the year 1960. Its circular emblem is divided into four quarters, with a torch held by a hand in the middle. The first quadrant has a pair of meshing gears, the second has a book, the third has a bridge on a river and the fourth has an electricity transmission tower. The name and place of the institute is inscribed along the border of the circle. A banner at the bottom has its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Actions’ is written.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY KHARAGPUR With the recommendations of the Sarkar committee in view, the first Indian Institute of Technology was born in May 1950 in Hijli, Kharagpur, in the eastern part of India. Initially the IIT started functioning from 5, Esplanade East, Calcutta and very soon shifted to Hijli in September 1950. The present name 'Indian Institute of Technology' was adopted before the formal inauguration of the Institute on August 18, 1951. IIT Kharagpur started its journey in the old Hijli Detention Camp where some of our great freedom fighters toiled and sacrificed their lives for the independence of our country. Its emblem in blue colour has a tree rooted to a book, where the year of its foundation is written, referring to growth through knowledge. Its name in Devanagari is written around the tree. It is ensconced by a segment of gear which bears the name of the institution in English. Below these on a trapezoidal panel its motto ‘योगः
